Where is the sun supposed to be right now?

OK, so my dad has some crazy conspiracy theory about the sun being further north than it's supposed to be right now. I told him the sun is supposed to be rising closer to north from March 22 to September 22, and he said that the spring equinox just passed and it should be further to the east than it is. Can some one show me a website or something that covers how the sun moves and where and when it's supposed to be?
