Why do women go around in their pajamas?

Two days ago I went inside a gas station and there was this woman who had on tinklebell pajama pants, a shower cap on her head, and zebrastripe bunny slippers. Why? Why can't people just put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt? Instead they choose to be lazy and put on anything?
