2011 Chevy Equinox or 2011 Toyota Highlander?

Congratulations on starting a new family! I would recommend you first test drive a Toyota Sienna. It is much better for a family. It costs less generally than a Highlander but you can load it with options. The V6 Sienna also actually gets BETTER gas mileage than the Highlander! It is considered one of the safest vehicles on the road and your your insurance will actually DROP dramatically with a Sienna because it is so safe. When load up, the Sienna far outshines the Highlander and is considered the Lexus of minivans. I do not recommend a Chevy Equinox. I drove both it, ans the Highlander...my Sienna XLE is the most wonderful, luxury, smooth riding and quiet vehicle I have ever owned. Good luck on your family...you'll find all the room you need for YEARS to come in a new Sienna.
